Dimensional Bracelet Pattern

This bracelet is made using a couple of the newer beads, Czech Mates Triangle bead and Tila's. It looks like it might be complicated to make, but once you get used to the thread path, you will move along quickly. With the triangle beads down the center it gives the bracelet a nice dimensional look.

Beads Used:
A = 11˚ MIYUKI Seed beads
B = 8˚ MIYUKI Seed beads
C = Czech Mates Triangle bead
D = 11˚ MIYUKI DELICA beads
E = MIYUKI Tila beads

Start by waxing and stretching your thread, use Nymo D or C-Lon & a #11 or #12 beading needle. I used Fireline 6lb. crystal.  Tie in a "stopper" bead, leaving about an 8" tail and begin at step #1.

1. Pick up 1E, 1A, 3D and 1C going through the top hole of the C bead. In later steps make sure all the C beads are pointing up.

2. Pick up 3D, go with thread right to left through the bottom hole of the C bead and up through the 3 D beads added in the last step.

3. Pick up 1A, 1E 1A, 1B, 1A, go with thread down through the right side hole of the E bead just added.

4. Pick up 1A, go with thread down through the 3 D beads, step #2.

5. a) Pick up 1A,3D, 1A, go with thread down through the 3 D beads, step #2.
b) Pick up 1A, go with thread down through the right side hole of the E bead added in step #1.

6. Pick up 1A, 1B, 1A, follow the blue dotted line in illustration. First going up and then down with working thread and coming out with thread down through the right side hole of the E bead, Step #1.

7. Pick up 1B, 1E, 1A, go with thread up through the 3 D beads, Step #5a.

8. Pick up 1C, 3D, go with thread right to left through the bottom hole of the C bead just added and up through the 3 D beads, Step #5a. Make sure your C bead is facing up in the same direction as the previous C bead.

9. Pick up 1A, 1E, 1B, go with thread down through the right side hole of the E bead in the previous unit and the A bead, left to right through the 1 A bead, as shown, up through the 1 A bead and the left side hole of the E bead just added in this step.

10. a) Pick up 1A, 1B, 1A, go with thread down through the right side hole of the E bead, step #9.
b) Pick up 1A, go with thread down through the 3 D beads, step #8.

11. a) Pick up 1A, 3D, 1A, go with thread down through the 3 D beads, step #8.
b) Pick up 1A, go with thread down through the right side hole of the E bead, step #7.

12. Pick up 1A, 1B, 1A, follow the blue dotted line in illustration. First going up and then down with working thread and coming out with thread down through the right side hole of the E bead, Step #7.

13. Continue bracelet by repeating steps #7 through #12 until the bracelet reaches the length that you would like.

Peyote Beaded Bracelet Graph Pattern

This is a graph pattern is for a pretty but basic peyote bracelet pattern. At the bottom I have also included some basic odd count peyote instructions to help you complete your bracelet.
Miyuki Delica seed beads size 11/0

Continue to repeat the pattern until your bracelet is the length that you would like.

Basic Odd Count Peyote instructions

Pick up Row 1 & 2

Row 3, add 1 bead and go right to left through the row 2 beads as shown. To do turn and start row 4, continue with working thread up at an angle through the last bead in row 1, last bead in row 2 and the 2nd from last bead in row 3 as shown....

...Continue Row 3 turn, at an angle up through the row 1 and row 2 beads as shown...

...Continue Row 3 turn, at an angle down through the row 1 bead as shown...

...Continue Row 3 turn, at an angle up through the row 3 bead as shown.

Row 4, add 1 bead between all the raised row 3 beads and go left to right through the row 3 beads as shown.

Row 5, add 1 bead between all the raised row 4 beads and go right to left through the row 4 beads as shown.  Do turn and go with working thread in the same manner as you ended and turned in Row 3

This is another version for turning rows. It does work great for bracelets.
At the end of odd Row, with working thread go through side thread of the previous row (hook it around), continue with working thread right to left through the last bead in row just finished.

 Basic Decrease In odd Count Peyote

Decrease 1
At the end of row, with working thread go around thread on the side of the previous row. (hook it around), Continue with working thread left to right through the last 2 beads in previous row and new row just added.

Decrease 2
At the end of row, with working thread go around thread in the previous row. (hook it around), Continue with working thread left to right through the last bead in row just finished.

Decrease 3
Add 1 bead between all the raised row 4 beads and go right to left through the row 4 beads as shown.  Do turn and go with working thread in the same manner as you ended and turned in Row 3.

Decrease 4
Add 1 bead between all the raised row 4 beads and go right to left through the row 4 beads as shown.  Do turn and go with working thread in the same manner as you ended and turned in Row 3.

Now you can add your closure.

To end thread weave through as shown in illustration. Crossing over the threads lock them in place without knotting. Bring in a new thread with a stopper bead, then weave off the new thread after removing the stopper bead in the same manner that was done with the old thread.

To add thread weave through as shown in illustration. Bring in a new thread with a stopper bead, then weave off the new thread after removing the stopper bead in the same manner that was done with the old thread.
